Biaz Saleh
I serve as the President of the Kurdish Civil Society in Switzerland, and I am also a member of the Kurdish Civil Society in Europe. I studied Arabic literature in my home country and worked there as a teacher. In Switzerland, I completed vocational training and currently work in a refugee shelter, in addition to teaching Arabic at the Volkshochschule (Adult Education Center) in Zurich. I also give lectures in the Arabic language department at NCBI. Through my work with the organization, we strive to nurture our children's memory with Kurdish culture, encourage them to learn their mother tongue, and build bridges of communication and mutual support among Kurdish families in the diaspora — preserving our cultural identity and strengthening our shared sense of belonging.
