Farid Yousef
He hails from Kuran village, Jindires area, in Afrin, Aleppo Governorate – Syria. He was born in 1960, and in 2013, he moved to Switzerland, where he currently resides. He completed his education up to the 9th grade in Syria. Later, in Switzerland, he enrolled in two A2-level programs focused on language learning and social integration. He has a distinctive talent in Kurdish folk culture, especially in performing traditional Kurdish dances, which he considers a vital part of his cultural identity—one that he is committed to preserving and sharing within the Kurdish diaspora.
